By Richard Littrell offers the opinion that "Britsh Double Agent" Kim Philby was actually a triple agent. It seems to me that the Book "Ona Field of Red" by Anthony Cave Bown, published in the early 1980's makes a brief, sort a matter of fact statement. that indeed Philby was a triple agent and the Larouche cult has published items that leads one to believe the truthfulness of his loyality to the UK. The Larouche outfit blames all things bad on the British monarchy and I haven't had Brown's book in years, so my memory may be playing tricks on me. Does anyone have an opinion on Philby ?

I'd need a lot more than LaRouche pieces to conclude that Philby was a triple agent ultimately loyal to Blighty.
It would be an extraordinary commitment to have been made by anyone, frankly.
Philby lived his last 25 years in Moscow, from 1963 onwards, and died and was buried there in 1988. That's not loyalty - it's religious.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. I have no firm opinion on Philby, but to be devils advocate once Philby fled to Moscow could he ever leave without risking his life ? Could the Soviets risk the embarrassment of having their prize catch turn out to be false ? Philbys defection proved that the Soviets were on the march and the Cold War was justified, more ammo for the military-industrial-intelligence complex.
