It is a whole new paradigm. I think it should work with one caveat - that being if the internet is shut down and the system [or your part of it] is not available. I think it sane to keep a backup of everything in one's own system - but offline at all times...and the other copy is online in this system [which is built on the bitcoin paradigm]. It is complex and I'll be interested to see how it works.
