Sorry...

That said, trying to discuss what's really going on with most ordinary people is like entering the Twilight Zone.

DPF is by comparison the Sane Zone.

Reith's mission statement for the BBC was to inform, educate and entertain. This essentially represented the high moral purpose of all public service broadcasters across the globe.

C21st MSM has long since abandoned these aims.

All we have now is diversionary entertainment.

The notion of educating people to understand what's going on, or even having the courage to inform the public of what's going on, is as dead as Reith himself....

I have rarely read such dire predictions Jan - outside of scence fiction/zombie films etc.

Can we discuss whether these events have been designed to occur purposefully? I noticed a few days ago Patrick Byrne's commenst on Deep Capture that he felt forces were out to "crack" the banking system. I also suspect this is the case and have felt this was a valid scenario for quite awhile now (althugh I had no clear idea how it would manifest).

If we agree that this has been planned and is being caried out, what is the motivation?
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

There goes Lloyds (again).....like dominos all lined up......until all 'fall down'? Yes, David, I sense both planned chaos (sic) and the inevitable collapse of a corrupt, dishonest, and failed economic 'system' here. Who benefits, will lead us to the criminals. :creep: :captain: :creep:

Follow the money. Where has it gone? Who has it? What are they doing with it?

Well, you can eliminate me as a suspect!...and most others. I'd start with those who have more than ten homes, one yacht, one plane, and an offshore account. [I actually have met several in this catagory]

IF this 'crisis' was really hurting those at the 'top' you can bet your ass they'd demand something be done about it...well they have (haven't they)...they've demanded the public sector 'bail-out' the private one and then they'll step-in and buy up the bankrupt public sector and we'll all be the property of Earth-United-Industries and Workcamp Inc. (very, very, VERY)LLC

The future looks so rosy at the moment...like the lovely rosy color in the inside of Dante's Inferno, or that of an atomic blast. You know it will be time to pass out the cyanide when Americans stop wearing smiley-face buttons and wear ones with a frown!

Have a nice day!Confused:

As I ventured earlier, not one cent of "lost" the money has disappeared out of the banking system. It's still sitting there whistling tunelessl inside of it. That's what makes the whole story so, well, faked up. There is no genuine reason (imo) for the banks to stop lending, after all it's other peole's money - not their own - they lend anyway. Why stop now?

I believe Patrick Byrne is right in thinking that the banking system is being purposefully "cracked". I also think that the financial journalists he has fingered for their involvement in the naked short selling fiasco, are quite likely Mockingbird assets.

There's a sense in which trying to decipher Their motivation is like trying to guess which card a poker player has in the hole. In other words, largely speculative.

They have far more information than us, and possibly possess complete wildcards - eg apocalyptic global warming data or secret Tesla weaponry (with all such Tesla science would suggest about orthodox physics as we know it).

So, with the caveat above, my view is that the lens of Naomi Klein's Shock Doctrine is one useful way of looking at recent history. Powerful financial and political elites have undoubtedly used the academic cover of free market economics and globalization to enrich themselves whilst impoverishing the populations and dismantling the industrial infrastructure of large parts of South & Central America, Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe etc.

I also consider NSSM200 - aka the Kissinger Doctrine - as an important example of elite thinking.

In Their vampyre lust for ever greater profits, They also insisted on the removal of genuine regulatory oversight for financial markets, and encouraged the PhD quant boys to turn ordinary High Street banks into giant, out-of-control versions of Long Term Capital Management. Warren Buffett's "weapons of financial mass destruction" became the norm, not some marginal activity. This Hubris - the toddler in control of the sweet shop screaming "I want more" - was always going to end in catastrophic Nemesis.

Some of the elites are doubtless simply greedy. And stupid. Their stooge frontmen such as Ronald Reagan and George W Bush are clear examples.

However, there are also some highly intelligent people amongst the elites who must have known this behaviour would lead to the destruction of the global financial system as currently configured.

I think we are at the beginning of the application of Shock Therapy to the so-called First World: North America, western Europe, Australasia, Japan etc.

We can see some of the options They possess in their armoury for when the people revolt - ranging from NSPD51 to a cowardly flight to Paraguay.

I suspect, but cannot prove, that They have a massive rabbit in the hat, a truly bizarre wildcard in the hole.

This wildcard will most likely be used to attempt to terrify ordinary people into obedient acceptance of martial law and more.

One thought that springs to mind (not for the first time) is control of the population in terms of numbers. One reason why I sat up to read Kate Story's recent post on the Goergia Guidestones:

Quote:1. Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
2. Guide reproduction wisely - improving fitness and diversity.
3. Unite humanity with a living new language.
4. Rule passion - faith - tradition - and all things with tempered reason.
5. Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
6. Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.
7. Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
8. Balance personal rights with social duties.
9. Prize truth - beauty - love - seeking harmony with the infinite.
10.Be not a cancer on the earth - Leave room for nature - Leave room for nature.

Or perhaps I am being too wacky about this - but I can see elite planners thinking 6-6.5 billon inhabitants of this planet being far too many.

Progressive to Radical Environmental Consensus is that a human population of about 1 Billion is maximal amount for a sustainable Planet; less in the future, with higher demands per person, BUT environmentalists, and such want to carefully lower the numbers humainly - no wars, no killing, no starvation, no extreme limits on family size, no infanticide, equity in all nations, regions, ethnicities, etc. [there are ways to do this I could expand on.] Global pop. now is just under 7 B and will reach 9 -11 no matter what, short of some catastrophic events. So, what we are calling for is. cutting down to 1/10th - a VERY tall order!!!! Drastic measures!

The elites may also feel they need to cut the numbers (for different reasons), but I'll bet they care not how....or who suffers and how much they suffer. Jan is probably correct that they have some tricks up their sleeves and can see some events that are coming down the pike they can expoit....imagine a worldwide 'Katrina' - or viral pandemic, or whatever they have planned - and you have a modern real-world version of 'hell'....The kind of thing we thought we had buried with the last World War.
