Incredible new information and photos of Pluto

The recent fly-by of Pluto is still streaming down photos and data about the mission [will take another few months to download all the information]. No one anticipated active geological and even tectonic activity on a distant body that is so cold [not much about absolute zero on the surface]. There must be some internal heating, as active geological activity is seen and active re-surfacing of the surface - more so in some areas than others. This is a real color photo of Pluto. The ices are both water ice and methane ice. The mountains are several Km tall and have been recently pushed up from below. None of the craters are very old an some areas show no craters, indicating current re-surfacing from below.
