IN the past I have seen highlights of parts of the Eurovision song contest on the news and in passing. But this year I actually did watch Eurovision the other morning as I happened to be up at the time. I found it very strange in several aspects. Primarily as to why was Australia (and Israel) in EUROvision contest at all. I also thought the songs for the most part were just pretty boring bland US style pap pop and almost all in English. And I did think the songs were meant not to be 'political' and yet look what won!. A very overtly political song. What will we see next year? I don't think it will be a song about the Banderite and Cossack collaboration with the Nazis murdering the local populations. Nor the more recent holocaust at the trades hall in Odessa by US backed and funded neoNazi criminals. I doubt I will ever watch it again because I have better things to do with my time and it has obviously morphed in to some thing else than it was intended to to be from its origins namely a mouth piece for Empire.

I avoid it like the plague. It's always been rigged. Besides that the songs are suicide-inciting.
And yes, why is Israel and Oz in the Eurovision? Why is Israel in the Euro football competition. "Euro" is going to become any damn nation the elite says it is.
Let's get up a pressure group to invite Iran and/or Syria to become part of it too. Then we could have a "Euro" war contest with fixed voting interspersed with less than rousing music played before cutting to 5 minute advert cycles.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

Next year's winning American entry, though with Skull and Bones' lyrics:

One of my favourite tunes. I love marching to it.
But the reality is that we have to build a new resistance:
And in more ways than one:

This was my school song. I was quite shocked and confused at the age of 9 to see it played in, ahem, other settings....I think that might have been the turning point in my life where I began to really question things...
