Have to wonder how much of the stories about JFK's lifestyle (indiscriminate sex, experimenting with LSD) are real, and how much is misdirection of some sort.

It is hard to imagine the mindset that existed in those days, but in 1960 enough people were bent out of shape even at the thought of a Catholic becoming President that you would think the Nixon people would have learned of these traits if they were evident before that and leaked them during the campaign.

As far the assassination itself, you would think the US Government would go to the ends of the earth to get the whole truth. It probably did, and had some reason for not being entirely forthcoming with the public.

The stuff about the assassination is really disgusting. Noory knows better, he is in fact very aware of the true facts about this case and to let that asswipe Rather get away with this, with out commenting critically makes me sick. I have heard many a researcher on Coast to Coast and with those guests Noory is able to be quite articulate about the conspiracy. Shame on him.

Exactly what I was thinking. How could Noory sit there and not interject that there were plenty of legitimate sources that countered Rather's claim that the evidence all pointed towards Oswald. Not even a polite "There are many who might disagree with you on that".

They didn't have to go to the "ends of the earth". To paraphrase Col. Prouty - "they all knew". Why do you think they were announcing LHO as the lone gunman within hours after the event, before any investigation, were manipulating the evidence before JFK's body had even arrived back in Washington and had people at LHO's high school (well the HS one of the LHO's attended) the next morning? When the FBI played the tapes (that the CIA later insisted didn't exist) of the Oswald imposter in MC and viewed the photo of the "mystery man" on the night of the assassination and found that neither the voice nor the photo corresponded to the suspect they had to know that Oswald was being framed by intelligence insiders (J. Edgar Hoover may have been an evil, corrupt, power-mad despot but he was not stupid). The cover up began almost before echoes of the shots in Dealy Plaza had died down. None of that could have happened if they didn't already know.

What is Dan Rather even doing on Coast to Coast?

He is the reason why there is a Coast to Coast.

And then to let him spout off like that, I mean GEEZ. Give me the barf bag.

Someone should send Dan my CBS article to show him what a lying hypocrite he really is.

That's what I was thinking - what is Dan Rather doing on Coast to Coast?

Why am I reminded of Spinal Tap?
