I agree she is usually very reliable. But I am also getting others saying things like:

"The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it." Karl Marx

"He would, wouldn't he?" Mandy Rice-Davies. When asked in court whether she knew that Lord Astor had denied having sex with her.

“I think it would be a good idea” Ghandi, when asked about Western Civilisation.

What is interesting is the meeting between Trump and King of Jordan before the CW 'attack'.

I can find no information on this. There have for many months been US troops on the ground in and on 'expeditionary incursions into Syria', I think this is just another if perhaps larger one. They will likely do some mayhem and they withdraw for a while. Things do seem to be escalating though and someone has Trump by the you-know-whats, as this is a 180 degree turn around on his states policy toward Syria. For the US National Security State this is business as usual and it seems they have found a way to make Trump compliant to their wishes and plans. The large number of tanks and other military vehicles now transiting the Suez Canal seem to indicate big things are planned. More war ships are also heading that general direction. With the deconfliction hotline cut between Russia and the USA, almost anything could now trigger the killing of Russian troops by the USA or vice-versa and thus puts us on the brink of nuclear war if it gets bad. It is a mess, but nothing less could have been expected IMHO from Trump - it was only a matter or time. He may try something similar in N. Korea soon too. How long before the sheeple who voted from him because he was going to not get involved in foreign conflicts, but focus on fixing things at home wake up...personally, I think a long time, as those same types always snap to attention and the flag when we are at 'war', even if it is illegal warfare both by US and International laws. A few American troop casualties will actually help Trump at this point and surely will be coming soon.

"Civil disobedience is not our problem. Our problem is civil obedience! People are obedient in the face of poverty, starvation, stupidity, war, and cruelty. Our problem is that grand thieves are running the country. That's our problem!" - Howard Zinn

Following Trumps surprise announcement that US troops would be pulled out of Syria and that someone can take over there, that someone else is, apparently, France. French troops are replacing withdrawing US troops at 5 bases in Syria (HERE).

It's probably worthwhile to re-post former French Foreign Minister, Roland Dumas's interview of French TV, regarding the origins of the Syrian regime change affair

The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.
