That said, the revealing revelation in the intriguing piece over at the linked K and K site, particularly the last few paragraphs may actually clear up the secrecy to the quiet passing of McCord. Given that rather telling revelation it would make perfect sense to fade away quietly into history. Protecting secrets to the very end.

Its about Kennedy's Middle East policy. Which is something that most people do not even know he had since everyone in this community is obsessed with Vietnam and Cuba.
But he did have a Middle East policy and it was a good one.
As for this article on McCord, this guy was so important to modern American history and the MSM did not even know he passed on? That bombshell in O'Sullvian's book about him being in Dallas on the day Kennedy was killed is incredible. Is it true? Who knows, but it came from McCord himself.
The other thing that is key about McCord is something most of us probably are already familiar with if we have read Jim Hougan's milestone book Secret Agenda.
That is his rather puzzling role in Watergate. It was McCord who cracked the case open in Sirica's court with his letter to the judge about perjury and pressure in his court. That is what led the case into the White House.
Secondly, the question is: would there have been a trial if not for McCord's weird behavior the night of the final break in? But before that, McCord the security consultant planted a faulty bug in O'Brien's office. Which necessitated the last break in. And then it was his shenanigans that got them caught.
McCord always played the put upon technician. In my view, and of others, he was not. He was really an operator who used the technician role as cover.

Oh, My!, what a bombshell it was, right from the horses mouth no less. Gives some credence to Luis Posada connecting him to Dallas via Chicago as well.

In respect to McCord's genuine role (technician? or Operator?) we may never really know, but great job zeroing in on the bombshell at ground zero in Dallas on Friday, November 22, 1963. Yes!!!!!
Cannot recall their names at the moment, but there has been some outstanding research that has borne out that at least two others with ties to the Watergate break-in also being in Big D that fateful afternoon.
E. Howard Hunt was in Dallas on 11/22/63. I even know exactly how he traveled there, but the person who gave me this information [first hand witness who knew EHH] wishes it not be detailed until his death.

That's okay Sir Alan, the exchange of information may be explosive, however, there is absolutely nothing no one can do at this point. I will admit, I've had the honor of meeting some of the most edumadic figures in my lifetime.
Never in my 55 years of life did I think I would sit down with some of the most notorious people of the 21 century, not that I praise them, I suppose everyone in life has/had a job to do, a destiny we follow, a strong conviction in what they believed in. I have never asked for recognition, I do however get angry when someone takes one's discoveries and applies that information as their own without regard of giving any credit to the oringal source, in this case, I would agree with you 110 percent and say that Posada deserves full credit the moment he choose to share information that otherwise had been kept confidential in over 55 years, and in front of Frank Castro and a third person who was introduced to me but his name escapes me, we had plenty of discussions over a bottle of wine, the time I spent with these men will always be a rememberable event, I felt a since of accomplishment, pride, but mostly honored by their presents though short lived due to Luis failing health, the memories I will have for a life time.
And then, there is McCord who created the 'counter-intellegence' on FPCC who was receiving information from Banister. McCord played both sides of the fense as he was once FBI, and THEN CIA.

Between him, Helms, Dulles and McCord many secrets went to the graveyard with them. Wow/imagine that McCord and Hunt both in Dallas on Friday, November 22, 1963. Watergate too. Amazing what can happen when a misguided Agency is given a blank check to operate freely without any genuine congressional oversight.
