Are we sure about this? As a writer I would be deeply upset to see my work turned into a pdf and posted online. The printed version is not cheap, I know - twenty quid on Amazon - but he deserves the recompense for such a ground-breaking work.
I think what is available on the net is the university thesis that Gander did on which the book was based. It is indeed the book for most of it. There would be some changes but mostly of style rather than substance I think from the thesis to book. But the thesis is freely available as are all thesis.

"He would, wouldn't he?" Mandy Rice-Davies. When asked in court whether she knew that Lord Astor had denied having sex with her.

I found that the video series on Gladio in the "video playlist" at the top of this page is well worth a watch. It's open to all who visit here.

I take your point; which is why I mentioned it in the first place. I guess I could email him but, if I were to do that with every file on WikiSpooks - even so far (ie about 400 or so) - with the necessary chasing and collating of replies/non-replies, not to mention digging out email addresses in the first place, I'd need a dedicated admin system and would find myself spending a grossly disproportionate amount of time on it.
I have taken the trouble to obtain permission for cross-posting articles from a number of sites, but that is usually quite straightforwardly done through a website contacts page. Even so you'd be surprised how many don't reply to repeated requests. My usual approach in such circumstances is to say I intend to cross post with due credit/link and to wait for objections - haven't had any yet.
To illustrate the difficulty. I have spent maybe two hours over the weekend trying to find the email address of Dr Nick Kollerstrom - he of "Terror on the Tube - Behind the Veil of 7/7". No joy and frankly I'll probably give up on it.
I'm presently putting together a copyright section together for the
Disclaimer Page to address precisely this issue.
I've also added ISBN number search links for both the paperback and hardback editions.
