CGCS, as it is affectionately called by the folks who hang out there, is a large multi-topic American discussion board (albeit sometimes populated by a Canadian, an Australian, a handle of folk from Europe, and others) which was an outgrowth or "rollover" from the discussion board that existed "behind" the John Kerry for President campaign and was created by one of his campaign people. It allows for anonymity in posting. Indeed, over time, I have 'awakened' or re-awakened by participation over time... Yogi Berra, the great American baseball player and coach, used to say 'you can see a lot by just watching', and indeed it has become clear to me that it is widely used, if not created for the express purposes of being, a Potemkin village -- a place where the propaganda can be floated, bounced, and made to dance.

Many years ago, some curious fellow named Magmak1 began to ask questions about what went down in the Big Apple on 9/11/01. The answers -- and who and how they answered them -- were the training ground, the observations, etc. Being curious, and with a fair bit of time on my hand because of unemployment, I began to watch, to go off-board in search of information, etc. There, I met and befriended others, some of whom I have actually met and whose names (and more) I know. Some remain anonymous, though 'populated' with clues from observation. Some have been identified as specific 'agents' employed by US government agencies, military-industrial contractors, et al.

In reaction to one vivid exchange in which Dr. David Ray Griffin was accused of being a "neo-con disinformation artist", I contacted Dr. Griffin directly, posted our rebuttals, and then formulated (with the help of a brother-in-arms with some IT skills) a separate web site ... : http://tiny.cc/EPU .. dedicated to discussion of (and research into) verboten topics such as 9/11.

Shining light into dark corners ...

One of the military-industrial employees pooh-hoohed the idea of a connection between Iran-Contra, 9/11, and the big bailout; I knew I had read enough to back up the claim, and went about collecting that data and getting it posted for others to research. That collection is affectionately known as "the Lynx Lair": http://tiny.cc/theLynxLair

About the same time, I came across a reference to this forum. Its spiritual connection to Peter Dale Scott said to me that I ought to look into the place; I did, and contacted some folks through the "contact us" button, and -- lo and behold -- y'all (in the personhood of Magda and company) put "the Lynx Lair" into the DPF list of links.

And here I am ...

my avatar there is the black-and-white calligraphy which depits the ma-ai of aikido ...

two black brush strokes around a heart .
..

described in my first blog entry "At the Heart of the Problem" ...

Ed...you are over my head. You said a lot without saying anything.

The URL posted was heavily a DEBUNKING 911 website.

In response to this, Ed sent me a private message (PM). I do not
do private messages. Here is what he wrote:

What are you saying?

When you say "debunking", do you mean that it is primarily opposed to the prevailing efforts by people calling for further investigation on 9/11?

Are you saying that it is specifically a site oriented toward or in favor of active disinformation?

Did you start at the front door of the web site?
http://www.commongroundcommonsense.org/

At any rate, I don't wish to be "at loggerheads" about this; I am VERY interested in hearing what other DPF members think about CGCS, specifically the 9/11 comments there, and why.

Just earlier, I asked Magda (and she asked David Guyatt) about a different matter.

So, don't be shy. Speak to me. Use e-mail to epudirection [at] gmail if it is easier or preferred.

Ed

I am not shy. I just prefer that forum discussions stay on the forum.

The site he recommended promotes the "official story". I am disappointed
that anyone here promotes the "official story".

If he has some specific comment to make about 911, I think he should
say it instead of promoting a dubious website.

Sorry for the confusion, the disturbance and the intrusion, Jack.

It is true that there are some who post at that web site who promote the official story. (There are people at other web sites noted here and at which some DPF members were formerly particpatory who are also adverse to hearing about matters of deep politics.)

My explanation to you in this thread was intended (at which I obviously failed) to explain that, indeed, I have come to see that there are many who are not only promoters of the official story but engaged in wholesale obfuscation and online mindwars.

Indeed, at my own web site, I have created a catalog or resource tool on propaganda, psy ops and mindwars; you can see that here: http://z7.invisionfree.com/E_Pluribus_Un...wforum=160

But to say that I promote the official story is incorrect. Historically, at that site, I was the first, one of the major and, in terms of longevity and intensity, the premier person to question the official story and promote authors, web sites and more which asked questions or put forth alternative theories and explanations. At CGCS and EPU, I am Magmak1.

Indeed, not only have I questioned the official story, I have also advanced my own personal insight into what may have happened (Google Cheney OODA or read my blog), not just functioned as a forwarding post office for other articles. I have read Ruppert, Zwicker, McMurtry, Peter Dale Scott and almost all of Griffin. I have corresponded directly and personally with Griffin, and with Mark Gaffney. I have met Griffin personally at one of his events; my copy of NPHR is autographed by him.. I am familiar in depth with most of the major web sites; I have donated; I have signed the petition that Van Jones signed. I have been in correspondence with other noted people in the field. I am (was) an experienced professional and a published author in the fields of emergency medical services response, emergency management, and the use of simulation and online technologies in those fields.

If you would like to know what I have to "advance" in terms of thoughts about 9/11, just do some inquiry, googling, drop me a PM or an e-mail (I do answer them). I've been posting about the subject online since Feb 22 2006, 09:31 PM: http://www.commongroundcommonsense.org/f...opic=49914
