Peter P. put your coffee down

An email from a friend:
A perfect solution to all the controversy over "full-body" scanners in airports.....
[B] Have a booth that you can step into that will NOT x-ray you,

but will detonate any explosive device you may have on you.

It would be a win-win for everyone..
So simple!

"He would, wouldn't he?" Mandy Rice-Davies. When asked in court whether she knew that Lord Astor had denied having sex with her.

Peter P. is undergoing surgery to have a coffee mug removed from his nasal passage. We hope to have him back soon.

Meanwhile, a toast. To Peter!

Thanks for the warning !

That one will keep me going all day - priceless.:hahaha:LaughLaugh

BTW - not sure if I mentioned I was meeting Gilad Atzmon on a thread somewhere or a private pm - anyway. Watched him perform in Buxton last night - great evening - and had a 5 minute chat in the break too.

He's one laid-back guy. Told me he'd done an interview earlier in the day which might 'get him into trouble' - apparently he was scathing about the Chilcott Inquiry and Miliband and a few others. Haven't seen any flack yet.

He actually mentioned all of those things + Blair Bush and a few Israelis (Sharon, Netanyahu) in his performance banter too - and invited other names from the audience. I suggested Tzipi Livni. He agreed and volunteered that she is actually his cousin!

He introduced his encore piece as being by that 'well-know Palestinian' - wait for it - Louis Armstrong. With some choice banter about how the world might be if it were not for you-know-who. The encore piece? - 'Wonderful World' in an arrangement like you've never heard before.

His blog is always worth a look

Well, it a hard life Peter but I suppose some one has to do it.

Wish I was there.
