Does this mean I need to watch my 9 iron? :hmmmm2:

A 9-iron is not a measurement by the way.

That would be a long iron.

But then again, the extent of these ambiguities are deep - as Shakespeare once might have said.

9-iron's a short iron, David.

1, 2 or 3 irons are long irons.

Or is that what David was trying to say anyway? :joyman:
"The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it." Karl Marx

"He would, wouldn't he?" Mandy Rice-Davies. When asked in court whether she knew that Lord Astor had denied having sex with her.

“I think it would be a good idea” Ghandi, when asked about Western Civilisation.

Enough, or I'll have a stroke.

Just thought of a theme song for this thread:

"Putt Not for Me"

I felt that good manners dictate that I not actually discuss long irons in any detail. I'm content to merely sit in the morning sunshine with a steaming cup of coffee and polish the shaft with a soft cloth

A preferred lie is essential at my time of life. And I always make use of Winter Rules, and clean my balls after every drive up the fairway.

Fortunately, I no longer use the same balls that Tiger used. His wife keeps those in her handbag these days anyway.

(this can go on forever, don't you know...)
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

Good, lord! There's you there in the sunshine polishing your shaft and Charles is having a stroke. :joyman: We never do that at my golf club.

My understanding is that Tiger Woods likes his women as he likes his golf balls.

White, with dimples.

ROTFLMFAO! That would make for some good late-night television monologue....

It is really crumbling over there. Deadly silence about everything from both Administrators.

J.S. finally posted on the long thread....only to bicker with Magda about her photo....making not one peep about the clamor of demands for answers to questions and wrongs righted, etc. Je suis non plus, as they say in French.:questionmark:

He has finally made a statement and part of his 'disappointment' with me post facto are my postings here on this Forum on this thread.

Since you are watching all this John, the first class in Logic is usually causality and temporal cause and effect [cart:horse or horse:cart; A==>B or B==>A]. Who was offended first and reacted second. For a while there I was completely gagged and had been summarily removed without cause given; vote not taken; one false allegation [and rather major one!] made; etc.....
