Till Death Do Us Part
by Abby Zimet
Those rabid militia members in Michigan arrested for wanting to "levy war" against the U.S., not to mention the anti-Christ, raise some tough questions. First, what to call them, other than nuts? Judging from wedding pictures on Facebook, TPM argues, they're really a cult. Judging from their rhetoric, Juan Cole argues, they're really Christian terrorists, though why doesn't the press use that term? Then there's the big question: How many more of these guys are out there? According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, lots.
And let's not forget Jihad Jane!
