Critical Thinking Skills
It occurs to me, having seen mention of it in other loci, that critical thinking skills are central to the questions, research and analyses done here. There are college courses; one was never offered to me, or more likely I purposefully skipped it in favor of something else (probably a cute blonde co-ed, or the need to grapple with my Zoology 101 labs).
I'd like to think I got them from other educational venues but perhaps now would be a good time for me to insure that I did. In retirement, some people ward off dementia with crossword puzzles and sudoku; I will begin dabbling with "argument mapping" and the like. In thinking about this, I did discover the resources of the Foundation at http://www.criticalthinking.org.
Can other folks offer suggestions?
