I don't think Franklin had anything to do with Phoenix. I am stating, as a matter of historical record, that John DeCamp, who was a driving force behind the Franklin revelations, was a Phoenix operative. In that role, he worked closely with Phoenix mastermind, William Colby, who became DCIA as Phoenix in Vietnam, Laos, etc, was coming to an end.

This is highly significant in identifying DeCamp and Colby as deep political players.

Once they have been so identified, during the late 1960s and early 1970s - again as a matter of historical record - then this has to be considered in attempting to understand and interpret all their later actions.

Why was DeCamp so keen to identify top level politicians, such as GHW Bush, as paedophiles?

I've been an investigative journalist for almost three decades.

It is a fundamental rule that the nature and potential motivation of a key source (a "deep throat" if you will) always has to be considered in assessing and evaluating the meaning, and the truth, of what that source is alleging.

DeCamp has claimed that, just before Colby was "suicided", the former DCIA urged DeCamp to "drop Franklin".

Colby is of course now dead.

So we have no way of verifying DeCamp's claim as to Colby's attitude to the Franklin revelations.

Fundamentally, Franklin's victims are the young people abused by the rich and powerful.

Tragically, there is nothing unique about the rich and powerful abusing the poor and the young.

The deep political prism demands that we ask why Franklin reached some sort of public prominence before being suppressed?

Who benefited?

Who was threatening whom?

Was this simple moral outrage?

Or the visible tip of a factional power struggle being played out through a corner of MSM (YTV and Discovery)?

The fact that DeCamp had a deep black and covert operational background, and a close relationship with sometime DCIA Colby, is key to attempts to understand the deep political meaning of Franklin.

I think it is a possibility that George Herbert Walker Bush ordered the murder of William Colby. He certainly had the hierarchy to do it. Bush may have been threatened both by Colby's association to Franklin, working with De Camp, and by Colby's ties to Chip Tatum.

Deep politics players have splits and turf battles just like your local city council does and political parties. Maybe Colby was just disgusted over the child abuse on a personal level.

I left this sordid tale a long time ago after looking at it when it first broke. I have not re-visited the entire enchilada in depth for a long time (I can't hold my breath that long any more). Have things changed significantly? Do I need to hold my nose and go back? [There may be a late-breaking element to this too...]

Is it not what it seems? Is it worse than it seems? Do we need a new disinformation guidebook?
