The first 120 letters of all posts are used in the preview and 'latest posts' widget of the CMS system. When they are VERY big they can play havoc with the sidebar so could I ask users to refrain.
There's an example in Peter L's last post to the Arizona Congresswoman thread. It doesn't show in the forum sidebar, but it does show in the CMS system sidebar - have a look to see what I mean before it scrolls away with more posts.
