Maybe because he didn't do it?
"The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it." Karl Marx
"He would, wouldn't he?" Mandy Rice-Davies. When asked in court whether she knew that Lord Astor had denied having sex with her. “I think it would be a good idea” Ghandi, when asked about Western Civilisation.

I have read the Christian-Turner, Klaber-Melanson and Shane O'Sullivan books, and it's clear Sirhan was a programmed shooter who wounded five persons and did not hit Robert Kennedy.
Medical examiner Thomas Noguchi demonstrated the four shots to Kennedy were back-to-front, down-to-up, left-to-right, point-blank, excluding Sirhan. The acoustic analysis shows eight shots from Sirhan's revolver and five from the type carried by security guard Thane Eugene Cesar. Dan Moldea claims he "cleared" Cesar with polygraph testing, but one recalls that Aldrich Ames, too, passed a polygraph test. Sirhan must not be released else he might provide the additional keys to his programming and programmers. LAPD (some with CIA/AID links) destroyed evidence and tormented witnesses to suppress evidence of a second shooter and a team leading Sirhan to his mark for activation. Or perhaps Sirhan used a magic bullet which could hit Kennedy from behind, and leave point-blank stipling from a remote location.

And by the way ...
Sirhan Sirhan will be paroled. One day after Leonard Peltier is set free.

The FBI, as Director Mueller explained to Colleen Rowley, may not always be right (see also Kalstrom's Komic-Kaze Krash of TWA 800) but it is NEVER wrong. . . . Do not embarrass the bureau, pay no attention to the director in the closet, and remember, we should be closing doors, not opening them-- |
