In February, Esquire magazine published a lengthy profile of "The Man Who Killed Osama bin Laden." The story did not identify the killer by his real name, referring to him only as "the Shooter." Now, another member of the secretive SEAL Team 6, which executed the bin Laden raid, tells CNN the story of the Shooter as presented in Esquire is false. According to this serving SEAL Team 6 operator, the story is "complete B-S."

Kiss my ass.
Rest in hell you thief of peace.
Osama you son-of-a-bitch.
This Gyrene wanted a piece of your ass Osama,
but the Seals got ya first, chickenshit.
Tell it all to someone that has the time for bullshit.
I do not.
Rest in hell Osama.

I considered deleting the above post.
I decided I will let it stand if the moderators do so.
But that post and this addendum will be my last word on the Osama "ain't dead", BS
I apologize to all Islamic folks that wish me no harm. The loonies that do?
The loonies know where I stand.
With the vast majority of Americans -
make your problems my problems and I will be forced to deal with your lunacy -
up close and personal. We'll reach out and touch our enemy.
Terrorism is not NEW.
It first entered my life when I came home from the "National Drags" Labor Day 1972. Olympic Dreams shattered by unbrave chumps holding automatic weapons on UNARMED atheletes, oh boy that is something I can respect and support --- NOT!
Chickenshits take men in sleep and by force, wait more shit piles were coming from the terrorists. 11 of them with the help of the Fascists of West German authorities.
Corrupt Government again rears its ugly head in the release of the captured "munich three" live terrorists within weeks.
Germany is not the target of the idiots even today.
Peace secured for them at a cost to ... Me and all of Us.
My mindset about terrorists was made up then, long ago in the time of Vietnam, Apollo, Bobby Fischer and Dick Nixon. My attitude hasn't changed.
Me as POTUS on 09-11-2001?
Nuke the Tora Bora with the biggest nuke we have
and bury the SOB and his Al Queda friends
under glow-in-the-dark rocks.
As soon as the actionable intel was in my hand and the punk located and confirmed.
Pull out my folks and allies and let it fly.
No war forever, no Patriot Act, all a done deal in October.
No second war for missing WMDs.
No Pakistan duplicity in hiding our enemy.
They really don't dare war on the US.
But the terrorists harbored do.
In that case the last thing I would care about would be "world opinion".
Sometimes a nations people must pay for the actions of their government.
A fact many nations should be thinking about.
To include the US and WeThePeople.

Coby - DPF welcomes new members, and fresh insights.
We don't need new arrivals to be Deep Political Giants at birth.
But please - we expect a higher quality of post than this, which is frankly insulting to the collective intelligence of DPF.

Coming late to this discussion, and too lazy to read 44 pages, my question (and sorry if it's been asked before) is this:
If you have an unarmed Bin Laden in your sights why shoot him? Why not capture the top honcho of al Qaeda, rendition his ass back to Guantanamo and bleed him of every single ounce of information his has, all the top people's whereabouts, safe houses, funding providers, planned operations etc etc?
The US do this of so many other alleged al Qaeda members why not him? Why top him and dump him in the sea of forgetfulness? Frankly, it does't make any sort of sense. At least as the story and his legend stands.
In fact, it's complete bollocks.

To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge. Carl Jung - Aion (1951). In fact, it's complete bollocks. Ah, but David, that is because they actually want information from the other prisoners. And they want to terrorise the 'terrorists' about what can happen to them if they don't play the Empire's game. The very last thing they want is OBL spilling the beans on all their good work together over the decades. That is on a need to know basis and the pop up Osama doesn't need to know any more and we don't need to know about him from him. We are only allowed to know about him from them. There is only one official truth after all. And it was all done very respectfully and in accordance with the traditional Muslim burial at sea...so they say...

And not everyone says he was buried at sea. Some who may be in a position to know claim the body was sent to Bethesda. It wouldn't be the first time Bethesda has interfered with a corpse that was not supposed to be there.

What a nieve old thing I am, eh.
Imagine even beginning to believe the official script. Not.
