9/11 inside job "impossible to conceal," says Vladimir Putin

Claims that the terror attacks of September 11, 2001 were orchestrated by US intelligence agencies are "complete nonsense," Prime Minister Vladimir Putin told attendees of a youth forum.

"This is complete nonsense, it is impossible," Putin said on Monday, responding to a question posed by an attendee of the Seliger 2011 youth forum.

"To imagine that US intelligence services did it deliberately, with their own hands, is complete nonsense," the prime minister said. "Only people who do not understand the workings of security agencies can say that. It would be impossible to conceal it."

Putin added that he could not imagine how "any of the current or former US leaders could have such an idea."

At a hastily-convened press conference outside his home today, former Vice President Dick Cheney absolved Vladimir Putin and the Russian state security services of responsibility for the 1999 apartment bombings that brought Putin to power and launched the Russian invasion of Chechnya.

Responding to Putin's statement that 9/11 inside job theories are "complete nonsense," Dick Cheney thanked Putin for his support and added, "Vlad didn't do those apartment bombings either, no matter what the conspiracy theorists say. That's complete nonsense. State security services and their professional-assassin contractors just don't have the capability to pull off massive terror attacks. Only rag-tag groups of Muslims have that kind of access and expertise. And besides, the Muslims WANT us to invade their countries and steal their resources and murder them by the millions. That's why they're always handing us such convenient excuses."

I'm assuming that Cheney's comments are satire rather than genuine.

Putin allegedly said:

This is framing of the material to make an emphatic statement which is, in reality, heavily caveated.

False flag operations are carried out by small, compartmentalized, cells.

The CIA, as a security agency, did not plot and execute the assassination of JFK and its coverup.

However, CIA elements, agents, were almost certainly involved in the plotting, execution and coverup of the JFK murder.

Also, the "hands" (to use Putin's phrase) that perform such actions are usually not directly employed by security agencies.

Putin's statement can be dissected still further.

But life is short, and Vlad is a liar.
