Just how bad is BBC coverage of the Middle East?

On the origins of Hamas:

BBC online: Who are Hamas?

Enough of the child’s version.

Here’s the Wall Street Journal on the more interesting truth:

The BBC has more staff, correspondents and money than almost anyone - a the 'Rep' - but on issues that effect the Deep Political status quo they almost always do a very bad job! There is currently a big scandal over the BBC's refusal to air a humanitarian plea for victims in Gaza - BBC says they don't want to show bias...what a sad joke http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/hom...15149.html

Paul, on the Muslim Brotherhood mentoring of Hamas, what is your view of their nazi connections from WWII as promulgated by John Loftus?

I am so reminded of a poster(Michael Chapman) in another forum who held the view that Hamas remained a tool of the US-UK-Israel. Chappers would start a thread but rarely finish it, which was frustrating. But on occasion he nailed events cleanly. That was when he wasn't talking about Sky News "totty"...
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

Not all of the Nazis went to South America. Some stayed in the Middle East. Like Johannes von Leers.
"The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it." Karl Marx

"He would, wouldn't he?" Mandy Rice-Davies. When asked in court whether she knew that Lord Astor had denied having sex with her.

“I think it would be a good idea” Ghandi, when asked about Western Civilisation.

A whole contingent of Nazis were sent BY the CIA to Egypt not long after WWII, to help them develop their missile, weapons and intelligence programs. Others went other places in the Middle East.
