So I guess it isn't a hoax?

Or think about this: the Lunar Orbiter probably exists. Maybe the moon does too. but so does Photoshop. So if we suspect NASA may have faked the original moon landings, why would a few fuzzy black and white JPEGs alter that belief? I mean, I know a lot of people are going 'ooh' and 'ah' about how clear they are because they have been told they are 'High Definition', but to this jaundiced eye, they look very low definition. But that's OK, I am happy to wait till the next moon landing with real humans to settle the matter. Funny how it's taken so long.

a little theme music. Dancing Moon, Sky and Earth Long long ago: Moon and Earth were one Until shattering of celestial hammering Left two dancing where once was one. Setting a tempo for life to come. But that was long long ago Long Ago: She wined with sages of old leaving them drunk upon her light. Men wanting to have more, yet treasuring only the emptiness of her embrace. But that was long ago. Today: It's a busy life. Rockets to build. Humanity busily pounding outwards while… Societies ebb with human tides. No time for poetry as life becomes tied, to fulfilling orders. But that was this morning, already lost in the afternoon press. Tomorrow: I will dance with her Knowing we will be eclipsed Our motions moving us on to get lost in earthly shadows, leaving me to walk alone: yet fulfilled. But tomorrow will be nothing, for those chained to consuming the earth now. Casey Kochmer Feb 2008 http://personaltao.com/gallery/poetry/dancing-moon/

Do NOT confuse this place with those that embrace unknowing -- the sine qua non for control of the many by the few. Objective truth can, has, and will be attained. One of many examples: JFK was killed by conspirators. Need more? DPF REJECTS the "truth is relative at best and ultimately unattainable" world view. REJECTS! Got it?

I can say that I have learned a lot hanging out here. One of them is that truth is so honored because it so valuable and so hard to come by. My own grief is that the dissemblers have such a head start of those who are willing to do the hard work of seeking the truth. The truth is out there indeed. |
