For anyone who has cable TV there are several new gun programs showing gun culture and gun-heads and their "sport". These people are basically Blackwater personality profile-types. I don't watch them but the TV was set to that channel when I turned it on and I caught the statement "There are famous shots that changed history". Stunned I was waiting for the narrator to continue with something like "for example the precision CIA shooting that killed president Kennedy".
These shows are a smorgasbord of illegal weaponry like assault rifles etc aimed at useful idiot rednecks who don't realize the same government propagandizing this equipment on TV would arrest them if they ever used it. The shows are clearly War On Terror-era CIA mind conditioning designed to promote the acceptance of gun culture. Another country with such proliferation of assault weapons was Afghanistan under the Taliban. It's not difficult to realize the one place the government will provide a legal outlet for use of these guns is in the military. The show itself is a covert warning to anyone trying to defend democracy against this government force. Beware, we've just armed some very stupid people who are itching to use them against "liberals" who threaten them.
The shows are clearly dangerous and should be banned. Those who created them should be held liable for the damage, deaths and injuries they've caused. This is clearly shouting "AK" in a crowded theater.
