Pentagon successfully tests hypersonic flying bomb
"The Pentagon on Thursday held a successful test flight of a flying bomb that travels faster than the speed of sound and will give military planners the ability to strike targets anywhere in the world in less than a hour."

I have a semi-regular pattern built on "favorites" through which I check in on the news of the world. I start with my own e-mails (I have several), find Google News as a pass-by, and then go down a list of regulars. Chief among them, at the top of the list but always re-checked at the end of the list), is RiceFarmer.blogspot. I find few sites that do a global survey of what I consider important news than this guy.
I put the topic under Hotspots because, well, suddenly the whole world has the potential of being a hot spot faster than I can finish my review of the news of the world.
