Another in the endless mass shootings in USA - this time Denver

I have seen it mentioned James Holmes' tenure at UC Riverside is a cross-pollination with Jolly West's legendary Neuropsychiatric Institute.

The inference is that Holmes tired of studying mind control and became a project.

What I find of most interest is the reported phone call he received before rising from his seat, leaving through a door he propped open, suiting up, returning fully activated and going hot.

Questions include, why was the exit door not alarmed, as in FIRE DOOR - EMERGENCY EXIT - ALARM WILL SOUND

There will always be a plausible cover, that he was historically unstable, that he'd suffered a romantic or career setback, et cetera

In point of fact McVeigh bought Clinton 11 points and re-election, while continuing the New World Order of GHWBush and their upstream sponsors.

McVeigh was visited by Jolly and proceeded to execution without delay

Ruby was visited by Jolly and would die conveniently at an appropriate time

Sirhan's block has held for forty-four years

Did James' Holmes caller ID read POLKA DOT DRESS GIRL and the text: SHOWTIME

I think you / we are really on to something here! Here is the page of the professors at UC Riverside. http://neuromajor.ucr.edu/faculty.html Interestingly, the portal to the equivalent pages at Univ. Denver Neuroscience leads to a 401 UNAUTHORIZED screen from all access points [this is as close as one can get http://www.ucdenver.edu/academics/degree...grams.aspx ]. We need to find out who were his advisors and/or who was playin' with him both places. I looked into a few who's descriptions looked 'interesting'. Needs follow-up as to from where they get their funds and who they are connected to. I'd not heard about the call....if that is so, we have a BINGO! Sad thing is you and I and a few others here might well believe it - but the society in general will not..... Nevertheless, I say we work this one....the other mass shoot-em-ups were likely done by the same entity....this one seems to be easier to access. They slipped up this time. The ghost of Jolly West, indeed!

NB - I too had thought about, but failed to mention, the dog that didn't bark [the emergency door that didn't scream!]. I think we're on a roll here.

The video link inside of it has been disabled - Warner Bros is pulling the trailer. I found another copy of the identical trailer on Youtube under separate cover. Here it is. FFWD to minute 2:00 - there is the movie scene of the guy shooting up the theater. Compare that the the real event which played out right after that. The events were apparently so near-identical that some moviegoers thought the shooter who was firing rounds was part of the special effects or the movie/trailer...here is the trailer which played before the event:

Denver Anarchist Black Cross Statement on the mass murder at the Aurora Century 16 Movie Complex

Posted on July 21, 2012 by denverabc
[Image: a-AURORA-SHOOTING-FACEBOOK-640x468.jpg?4]
The writing of this statement was prompted by rumors circulating the internet that the person alleged to have shot over 70 people in an Aurora movie theater on July 20 was a member of the Denver Anarchist Black Cross. These claims are patently and maliciously false. James Holmes is not a member of the Denver Anarchist Black Cross, nor is he known to us in any way. It should not have to be said, but we will say it anyway: The members of Denver ABC along with any anarchists we have ever met, would never condone the calculated and intentional killing of random people. We are in fact actively and daily engaged in work to stop such tragic and horrific acts of violence at a systemic level.
As residents of Denver it was with shock, horror, and great sadness that members of our collective awoke on July 20, 2012 to news of a mass shooting at a movie theater in nearby Aurora that left 12 people dead and some 59 people wounded. Many of us spent our day anxiously listening to the news, wondering if we knew anyone who had been hurt, or even worse, killed. As the day drug on, and we started to be able to piece together some of the details of the shooting, emotions ran high. We listened intently as family members described watching their children shot, and those of us who are parents held our children close to us, filled with dread and immense despair. All of us spent our day filled with love and empathy for those who had endured such tragedy.
As the morning turned to afternoon, our shock and horror was interrupted by alarm and anger, as we were notified that a group of people were using twitter and online forums to link our organization to the alleged shooter, James Holmes. What seems to have started as an online blog post from a very shady far right-wing blogger that the suspect was a "black bloc anarchist", had spiraled into an allegation that the shooter was a member of the Denver Anarchist Black Cross. It is with the most vehement and stern feelings that we wish to set the record straight. Not only was James Holmes not a member of the Denver Anarchist Black Cross, but no one we know even knew him or had knowingly ever met him.
The rumor linking our organization to this individual seems to stem from Luke Rudowski, the founder of We Are Change, a right wing conspiracy theory based organization that found its roots in the early days of the Tea Party and has since latched onto the Occupy Wall Street movement. At 3:21pm, he tweeted out the following tweet: "this is going to come out in the MSM soon but my friends in Denver tell me James Holmes was apart (sic) of the Denver Anarchist Black Cross".
This erroneous and malicious statement hit us like a sack of bricks. We were shocked. Horrified. Nauseated. This tweet went "viral" within moments, spreading across the more conspiracy based elements of the Occupy and Libertarian movements on twitter and then to online forums. Not only were anarchists to be vilified and condemned, but our specific organization became, and remains, a target.
No attempt was offered to give any evidence to the claim. Much like the supposed state agents and members of the "mainstream media" that Luke Rudowski and so many from We Are Change claim they are fighting against, they made an unverifiable claim, with no research or foundational evidence, and stated it as fact. This was dangerous, irresponsible, and mirrored the tactics of the FBI.
Although Luke has since removed this claim, and has said he was "wrong" about his allegations, the damage has been done. Once a rumor is started on the internet, it's almost impossible to extinguish. We have received multiple emails and inquiries seeking comments from media sources, and our blog received 20 times its traditional daily traffic. And it doesn't seem to be subsiding any time soon, as our name is now associated with mass murder.
We Are Change, as an organization, is a group that thrives off simple answers to complex questions. With thinly veiled anti-semitism and traditional conspiracy theory logic, the problems of our society are not due to complex social, economic, and political relationships like capitalism, the nation-state project, white supremacy or patriarchy, but instead are just problems created by bogeymen like enemies, like "the Fed" or "the Bilderbergers" or "the NWO" or "the Jews". Instead of actually asking tough questions and trying to build real complex analysis of why things are the way they are, it becomes easier to wash themselves of any culpability for being a part of a replicated social relationship, and just blame the "shadowy figures behind the curtain."
This one dimensional logic was thus applied to the tragedy in Aurora. Instead of an analysis that actually seeks to investigate the complex relationships and conditions that lead to tragic events like mass murder, it's easier to blame a small group of people. In this case, the Denver Anarchist Black Cross. In this way, Luke and others from We Are Change can wash their hands of any social responsibility. It can't be a complex social phenomenon… it has to be the work of a secretive organization!
We might have been able to consider this the only reason that Luke and others at We Are Change would choose our organization to target with their allegations: it was an easy option. However, this isn't the first time that Denver ABC has been targeted for neutralization by We Are Change.
In December, Denver ABC discontinued our role as the legal team for Occupy Denver after repeated incidents of harassment and physical confrontation with members of the local chapter of We Are Change. This culminated in an event where members of We Are Change shouted down a member of Denver ABC who was addressing a crowd, by bellowing that she was a "member of the CIA".
Luke Rudowski and We Are Change chose this moment, just as all political pundits do, to attack their political enemies and work to neutralize and discredit them: part CoIntelPro tactic of bad jacketing and making baseless accusations without any evidence whatsoever, and part political posturing.
Luke and We Are Change are spitting on the bodies of those who lost their lives with these sloppy tactics, and attempting to use someone else's tragedy to grow their own political power by rehashing old disagreements with a political foe.
Undoubtedly, We Are Change are not alone in these types of actions. Whether it's those on the institutional left pushing for gun control, or those on the right pushing for more police powers or a re-strengthening of fundamentalist religious values, hacks on all sides of the political spectrum are scrambling to push their own attempts to secure power at the expense of those who senselessly died in that dark Aurora movie theater.
And in the end, all of these people miss the forest for the trees. We live in an insane and violent culture. One that was founded upon mass genocide and slavery. We live in a culture that celebrates genocidal generals as "war heroes", where military training happens in schools, where kids are bred from the youngest of ages to want to go conquer and occupy foreign countries. We live in a culture where it is always easier for people to get firearms than it is to get mental health treatment; where the only answer anyone seems to have for how this situation could have been dealt with revolves around the question of firearms. None of us heard a single person that has spoken on any media outlet, including alternative outlets, that spoke about the cultures of violence that surround us, or about access to mental health care, or necessary social services. All talk was centered on firearms: whether to ban them, or make sure the state gets more.
Let's be clear, this is not a call for gun control. The members of Denver ABC have been quite clear on our stance on gun ownership and the right to defend communities and individuals from violence. However, even as proponents of gun ownership as a means of self defense, we cannot help but question why it is that no one has started a conversation around other aspects of this complex social phenomenon. Why do mass murders affect our communities? Why does this level of violence happen on such a regular cycle? Why would someone who shoots up a movie theater be (rightfully) vilified in a city where a celebratory statue of a man who helped massacre indigenous people by the tens of thousands is perched just yards away from the City and County Building?
Until we start to try to actually examine complex social relationships, and ask hard questions that may also indict ourselves as active contributors to this violent spectacle of a society, questions that may lead us to a critical analysis of our entire culture and way of life, we may never really have any answers on how to prevent these horrible tragedies. In fact, the longer we avoid asking these questions, and building a complex and critical understanding of the insane society we live in, the more often tragedies like this will occur.
As the members of the Denver Anarchist Black Cross continue in our work to build a free, just, and liberatory society our thoughts stand with the victims of this horrible tragedy.
In mourning and in rage,

DENVER - The University of Colorado says shooting suspect James Holmes had a federal grant to study neuroscience.

University spokeswoman Jacque Montgomery said Saturday that Holmes was one of six neuroscience students at the school to get National Institutes of Health grant money. She didn't know how much money he got.

The NIH says the university decides who gets the grants. Criteria for receiving the grant weren't immediately clear.

The university says Holmes enrolled in the program last year and was withdrawing. Montgomery says Holmes didn't indicate why he was withdrawing.

Associated Press AURORA, Colo. (AP) - The shooting suspect accused in a deadly rampage inside a Colorado theater planned the attack with "calculation and deliberation," police said Saturday, receiving deliveries by mail that authorities believe armed him for battle and were used to rig his apartment with dozens of bombs.
Meanwhile, new details about 24-year-old James Holmes emerged, including summer jobs the suspect held in Southern California as a camp counselor and as an intern at a prominent research institute.

In Aurora, investigators spent hours Saturday removing explosive materials from inside Holmes' suburban Denver apartment a day after police said he opened fire and set off gas canisters in a theater minutes into a premiere of the Batman film "The Dark Knight Rises." The massacre left 12 people dead and 58 injured.

His apartment was rigged with jars of liquids, explosives and chemicals that were booby trapped to kill "whoever entered it," Aurora Police Chief Dan Oates said, noting it would have likely been one of his officers.

Holmes received several mail deliveries over four months to his home and school and bought thousands rounds of ammunition on the Internet.

"He had a high volume of deliveries," Oates said. "We think this explains how he got his hands on the magazine, ammunition," he said, as well as the rigged explosives in his apartment.

"What we're seeing here is evidence of some calculation and deliberation," Oates added.

Inside the apartment, FBI Special agent James Yacone said bomb technicians neutralized what he called a "hyperbolic mixture" and an improvised explosive device containing an unknown substance. There also were multiple containers of accelerants.

"It was an extremely dangerous environment," Yacone said at a news conference, noting that anyone who walked in would have sustained "significant injuries" or been killed.

By late afternoon, all hazards have been removed from the Holmes' apartment and residents in surrounding buildings were allowed to return home, police said.

The exception was Holmes' apartment building, where authorities were still collecting evidence. Inside the apartment, authorities began covering the windows with black plastic to prevent onlookers from seeing in. Before they did, a man in an ATF T-shirt could be seen measuring a poster on a closet that advertised a DVD called "Soldiers of Misfortune." The poster showed several figures in various positions playing paintball, some wearing masks.

About 8 p.m., police left the apartment building carrying a laptop computer and a hard drive.

While authorities continued to refuse to discuss a possible motive for one of the deadliest mass shootings in recent U.S. history, details about Holmes' background as a student and would-be scientist trickled out Saturday.

Holmes had recently withdrawn from a competitive graduate program in neuroscience at the University of Colorado-Denver, where he was one of six students at the school to get National Institutes of Health grant money. He recently took an intense three-part, oral exam that marks the end of the freshman year of the four-year program there, but university officials would not say if he passed, citing privacy concerns.

In a resume posted on Monster.com, Holmes listed himself as an "aspiring scientist" and said he was looking for a job as a laboratory technician.

The resume, first obtained by The Press-Enterprise in Riverside, paints a picture of a brilliant young man brimming with potential: He worked as a summer intern at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla in 2006 and mapped the neurons of Zebra finches and studied the flight muscles of hummingbirds while an undergraduate at the University of California, Riverside.

He also worked as a cabin counselor to underprivileged children at a summer camp in Los Angeles in 2008. In a statement, Camp Max Straus confirmed Holmes had worked there for eight weeks. The camp provided no other detail about Holmes but said such counselors are generally responsible for the care and guidance of roughly 10 children.

Neighbors and former classmates in California said although Holmes was whip-smart, he was a loner who said little and was easily forgotten - until this week.

Mary Muscari, a criminology professor at Regis University in Denver who studies mass killings, said she was not surprised Holmes was studying neuroscience and mental disorders.

"It could be he was interested in that because he knows there's something different in him," she said.

Holmes was in solitary confinement for his protection at a county detention facility Saturday, held without bond on suspicion of multiple counts of first-degree murder. He was set for an initial hearing on Monday and has been appointed a public defender.

Among the deceased victims was a 6-year-old girl and a man who died on his 27th birthday and a day before his anniversary. Families grieved and waited at hospitals, which reported at least seven wounded still in critical condition Saturday and others with injuries that likely are permanent.

Veronica Moser-Sullivan, 6, had gone to the movies with her mother, who was drifting in and out of consciousness in a hospital intensive care unit, bullets lodged in her throat and a gunshot wound to her abdomen.

"Nobody can tell her about it," Annie Dalton said of her niece, Ashley Moser. "She is in critical condition, but all she's asking about is her daughter."

Veronica had just started swimming lessons on Tuesday, Dalton said.

"She was excited about life as she should be. She's a 6-year-old girl," her great aunt said.

Another victim, 27-year-old Matt McQuinn, was killed after diving in front of his girlfriend and her older brother to shield them from the gunfire, said his family's attorney, Rob Scott of Dayton, Ohio.

Alex Sullivan had planned a weekend of fun, first ringing in his 27th birthday with friends at the special midnight showing of "The Dark Knight Rises" and then celebrating his first wedding anniversary on Sunday.

"He was a very, very good young man," said Sullivan's uncle, Joe Loewenguth. "He always had a smile, always made you laugh. He had a little bit of comic in him."

President Barack Obama, who called in his weekly radio address for prayer and reflection on the rampage, was scheduled to travel to Colorado on Sunday to visit with the families of victims.

During the attack early Friday, Oates said Holmes used a military-style semi-automatic rifle, a shotgun and a pistol to open fire on the unsuspecting theater-goers. He had bought the weapons at local gun stores within the last two months. He recently purchased 6,000 rounds of ammunition over the Internet, the chief said.

Holmes also bought an urban assault vest, two magazine holders and a knife for just over $300 on July 2 from an online supplier of tactical gear for police and military personnel, according to the company.

Chad Weinman, CEO of TacticalGear.com, said his company processes thousands of orders each day, and there was nothing unusual in the one that Holmes placed.

"Everything Mr. Holmes purchased on July 2 is commercially available," Weinman said, adding he was "appalled" that the material was sold to Holmes before the shooting.

The Batman movie, the last in the trilogy starring Christian Bale, opened worldwide Friday with midnight showings in the U.S. "The Dark Knight Rises" earned $30.6 million in Friday morning midnight screenings and according to industry estimates roughly $75 million on that day. That put it on track for a weekend total of around $165 million, which would be the second-highest opening weekend ever, following "The Avengers."

The shooting was the worst in the U.S. since the Nov. 5, 2009, attack at Fort Hood, Texas. An Army psychiatrist was charged with killing 13 soldiers and civilians and wounding more than two dozen others.

AURORA, Colo. Sources tell FOX31 Denver reporter Justin Joseph that a second man is now a person-of-interest in the Aurora theater shooting investigation. We are not disclosing his identity because he has not been charged.

Twelve people were killed and 58 injured early Friday when James Egan Holmes allegedly opened fire inside the crowded theater.
Neighbors of the person of interest say for the past two days there have been SWAT team and police cars in their alley and unmarked cars in street.
"He's been there about a year," said one neighbor.
Agents showed up again this morning.
"I woke up this morning with cops still here trying to look inside his home. At 5:00 a.m. cops showed-up and asked me about (him)."
Sources tell Justin Joseph someone made either a call or a text from the person of interest's phone threatening violence if James Egan Holmes was not released from jail. That call prompted police to issue an alert to find and detain him.
Sources also say a picture of Holmes with red hair on an adult website is what Egan looked like when he was arrested.
Neighbors recognized him instantly but they say he recently dyed his hair.
"I`ve seen him before," said a neighbor to the person of interest.
The person of interest's Facebook page shows he has a master's degree in bio-medical science.
Anshutz Medical Center confirms he is in their doctorate program, the same program from which Holmes withdrew several months ago.
Out of caution police searched their campus Friday, but they won't say what if anything they were looking for or found.
As for the person of interest, all law enforcement jurisdictions, local, state and federal, are looking for him.
Neighbors say he and his roommate left their home hours before the massacre. They haven't seen him since.
Aurora police declined to comment on this report due to the active nature of the investigation.

An eyewitness to Friday morning's Batman movie shooting spree stated that he saw the shooter take a phone call on his cell, open the theater's emergency door and appear to wave someone over. Twenty minutes later 12 people were dead and nearly 60 wounded.

Corbin Date was seated in the second row of the Century 16 theater in Aurora, Colo. when Holmes entered the theater. Date told the press and authorities that he saw the alleged shooter, James Holmes take a seat in the front row near the exit door. Holmes acted as if he received a phone call and went to the emergency door which opened onto the parking lot. Date told police it appeared as if Holmes was waving someone else to the door before he stepped outside.

About 20 minutes into the film, a gunman clad head to toe in body armor, heavily armed and wearing a gas mask, burst back in through the emergency door. He tossed an exploding canister which released gas into the theater and then the shooting began.

Video: Witness claims second shooter in Aurora spree

Date described the shooter as approximately 5'9". Holmes stands 6'3", a full half foot taller. While it is easy to misgauge height under such circumstances, it is a noticeable difference.

Another witness, seen in the video at left, stated a second canister was thrown from the opposite side of the theater indicating a potential accomplice as well.

This massacre was clearly well-choreographed and planned out. Holmes allegedly left his weapons and tactical gear outside the theater's back door. That seems implausible that something so well planned would be left to the chance that no one would notice this. Moreover, once the back door is closed it cannot be opened from the outside.

Only two days prior to the shooting Holmes was casually having drinks and talking sports like a regular guy. Jackie Mitchell, a furniture mover who lives several blocks from the suspect's apartment building in Colorado, told Fox News he had drinks with Holmes at a local bar on Tuesday night, and stated he showed no sign of being distressed or violent."

"We just talked about football. He had a backpack and geeky glasses and seemed like a real intelligent guy, and I figured he was one of the college students"

When Mitchell saw Holmes' photo after the shooting, "the hair stood up on my back," he said. "I know this guy."

The 24-year-old Holmes was working on a doctorate degree in Neuroscience when he began buying weapons and receiving an abundance of package deliveries. This would imply that Holmes had been building to this, either alone or with others, leading up to Friday morning's attack.

Holmes rented his apartment only a couple of weeks prior to the shooting, and the level of sophistication with regard to booby-trapping the apartment would have taken hours, even days. This information suggests Holmes was living at an alternate location.

Could one man skillfully organize this tragedy, including creating the booby-trapped apartment he left behind? Could one unassuming college student acquire such extensive military grade equipment on his own?

This follows the 'usual scenario'.....there is the one patsy who will be tried, convicted, vilified and likely killed - and the others who helped; likely planned and set up the patsy [who may have been induced to participate, in part]....it is like Oklahoma. McVeigh was not alone, but died as if he was the only one. Same will happen to Holmes. There were others mentioned as complicit at Ft. Hood, but they were soon made to disappear. The NSA would have the means to know exactly who called Holmes...[and what was said then and in earlier calls] but I'm sure will never tell. Cynical me. We, in the USA [and World] are being 'had' over and over and over again with staged terrorist incidents since at least the 60s that have a pattern. A very ugly pattern. There a small ones, like this and big ones like 911 - IMHO, all of a pattern. Very, very few are 'one offs'....perhaps a few are copy cat...but they are the exception. And those of us who see the patterns and research them are marginalized, demonized and called nuts and conspiracy theorists [and worse]. I openly wonder if there is some connection between the Brievik shooting and this one - they are one year apart minus a few days. Yes, there are differences, but there are also many parallels. Some Pan-World Gladio-like entity is having us all!

AURORA, CO -- A man who was at the Colorado movie theater where a dozen people were killed this morning, says he saw the gunman.
He says he thinks someone deliberately let the gunman inside once the movie started.
Here's what he told TV station KCNC this morning [URL="http://www.wkyc.com/news/article/252995/396/Witness-Someone-let-gunman-inside-Colorado-movie-theater-"]live on their newscast.
[/URL]
"As I was sitting down to get my seat, I noticed that a person came up to the front row, the front right, sat down, and as credits were going, it looked like he got a phone call. He went out toward the emergency exit doorway, which I thought was unusual to take a phone call. And it seemed like he probably pried it open, or probably did not let it latch all the way.
