I don't see what you don't understand Matthew. Charles is a good person with good intentions. However, like everyone I know, including myself, he is also an imperfect person with blind spots when it comes to insights to his own behavior and actions that others can see clearly. I don't see this situation as terminal but as fluid. I believe it can be redeemed but it is all up to Charles what he chooses to do or not do.

I agree with Charles, this is war, shit or get off the pot-- JFK researchers just can't get off the damn pot! :fullofit:
CD is correct about many things [this is not a complete list]: that it is a kind of war and there are enemies of the truth; that those who have looked, read and studied even a little about the events of Dallas - and do not conclude it was a vast highlevel conspiracy - are cognitively impared or complicit; I further agree with him on details of who. what, when, how, why [to the extent these are now knowable] - with only minor difference of opinion or 'take', of minor significance. He usually posts on JFK, but when he posts on other issues I most often agree with those too. He was a great supporter of me at the EF-Swamp when I was under attack and persecuted - a help against the array of dark forces there throughout. I'm a long-time researcher and have seen ''Ãt all', including internecene disagreements and angry rhetoric, feuds and break-ups, etc.. I think CDs motives were on the up and up, but his technique was causing some problems with some people. I had PMs and emails of persons who were either avoiding the forum due to the tone it was taking on [too combattive] or were seriously distressed by it. CD is a passionate person and especially when it comes to Dallas and things surrounding and connected to Dallas. I hope in the end it all works out and CD's wealth of knowledge and best and noble intentions toward the Truth being told and put forward in this vital period leading up to the 50th will prevail...... He will always be a friend and a respected researcher, IMHO. He/she who has never gotten grumpy at another's posts who has been in this as long as I would be self-delusional. First I would endorse the posts above by Peter and Magda. Mr. Drago IS an important and informative member.
We are all human and have our own flaws, the social lubricant is tolerance. If for no other reason than to set DPF apart from other less meaningful (to me) forums as well as to make possible interaction on a level other than "I know You are but what am I?" crap.
I strongly agree with Charles Drago that this is war, and should have been war in 1979 when the US Justice Department under the neocons (RReagan) refused to "investigate further" as the HSCA wrote.
This morning I am being bombarded by another discovery channel/military channel bunch of crap about the US Secret Service. No complicity and JFK removed his own protection by the US SS. Same Ol' xxxx. I changed to the weather and scenes of a half a foot of snow at least it ain't lies.
I conclude we are not winning the war on the Goebbels Propacrap front.
The "alternative" history folks like us need the participants like Charles Drago - given we all scr** up at some point. We like America have no members we can afford to waste.
In that DPF is clearly under attack, we don't need to self divide into factions, we need to close ranks and prepare for those attackers to be repelled.
Come back to the 5 and dime CD.
Read not to contradict and confute;
nor to believe and take for granted;
nor to find talk and discourse;
but to weigh and consider.

People should be honest about what the truth forces.
To be otherwise is to fail the very principles and standards Deep Politics requires.
In my experiences on the internet persons genuinely defending the truth never quit.

DPF is at war with those who seek only Power and Control over us.
It is a war with the Sponsors of the Public Slaughter of JFK.
It is a war against Power and Hypocrisy.
It is a struggle with those who despoil the planet in their myopic meaningless games, who massacre the many to protect the interests of the very few, who rape - and facilitate the rape - of innocent children.
Since its inception, we - the DPF founders - have banned 28 members.
We banned Ralph Cinque as soon as the task of exposing his snake oil was done.
We banned Gary Mack because he contributes nothing positive to the search for truth.
We banned Robert Morrow because his sex-obsessed monologues were tedious in the extreme.
We banned Jim Fetzer with some sadness, because his once fine mind is not what it was.
We have banned several posters who we, the founders, believed on the balance of probabilities to be agents provocateur.
We have not banned Charles Drago.
Charles has extensive knowledge, huge insight and a mighty pen.
The search for the truth is served immensely by his continued participation.
Charles co-wrote the rules of DPF, which can be seen in full here.
The forum rules include:
Quote:13. All members, including DPF moderators and founders, should receive identical treatment from the DPF moderators, and abide by the agreed rules of engagement.
14. Our fundamental objective is for DPF to be an arena where research can be seriously discussed, and thoroughly refuted if appropriate, without name-calling or member abuse. It is acceptable to be robust and even dismissive of the arguments of other members, if analysis and evidence are provided. It is acceptable to state that a particular argument serves the agenda of the powerful, again if analysis and evidence are provided. However, since DPF is primarily intended as an arena where serious informed research can be developed and debated, it is not acceptable to describe another member as, for instance, an agent provocateur.
15. The deep politics forum is not an arena for the right and the left to bait each other. There are plenty of forums on the internet for keyboard warriors to call political opponents names, or to post crude propaganda.
DPF will close the membership of any poster whose rationale, as revealed through their posts, is to engage in crude political baiting, and who shows no understanding of, and no desire to learn, about deep politics.
This is, and will remain, the deep politics forum.
Nothing has changed.
Charles Drago is still a founding member of DPF.
