Another thought: the reports are that it is known that several hundred jihadis came into France with the refugee waves. But also the there are jihadis that are US volunteers. The ones that we don't about can now be in the US.
Therefore, the narrative is already in place to expect attacks on the "homeland." Since one of the agendas is to justify taking care of Syria, this attack has to be seen in context of Russia's move into Syria. The thinking that the Empire had no answer to Russia's move Syria is clearly wrong.
