The Governor Jerry Brown finally after several months of it outpouring declared a State of Emergency over it...that is when the MSM was forced to pick it up. Some of their biggest sponsors are energy companies and I'm sure they'd just as well never touch this story....and will let it die a quick death if allowed to.
