You're cherry-picking a photo of Ruby with his stress face on. Here's a known photo of Ruby in the early 1950s.

Just think about this. Ruby was already a sleazy nightclub owner and mob associate by 1953. What would a US Senator and new Vice President be doing posing for a picture with him in Washington, with other Senators? Does it even make sense?
