Bernice Moore

Everyone seems to agree that Bernice on forums [and she was at one time or another on many of them] related to JFK [although she was also very knowledgeable about 911 and many other things] was helpful with information and almost never got into fights unless the person was really really deserving of it - and then just a single firm, cryptic yet polite refutation and then nothing more. She kept her calm and helped out almost everyone with information, of which she had an enormous trove. She and I also had many running private email conversations. On those she was also very helpful and gracious. Her home from her description had been turned primarily into a depository for photos, documents, clippings, books and other things on JFK and related matters. I remember once I asked for a specific photo and document. She knew immediately where it was, but told me it would take some days of 'digging' in a nook of her home to locate it - but a few days later locate it she did and sent to me.

I see in the obituary that her husband survives her. She often spoke about him as amused by her obsession with things related to the JFK Assassination - although, as far as I know, he did not participate actively in that. I believe I first came to know Bernice and her wide expertise on Rich Delarosa's Forum. Then she moved to the Education Forum and was a constant presence there. She was an active poster here and then left for another Forum - but I'm sure I'm not naming all she once posted on. She had long long suffered some kind of arthritic or other bone problem, and in private emails mentioned to me how painful and/or difficult movement was - but this never stopped her from finding a photo to send or a paper or quote, etc...it only slowed her down - and very little, at that. She helped so many of us along the way and asked nothing in return. She was really selfless when it came to helping out on the JFK case. She will really be missed. I hope her library of information finds a good home - as it must be one of the larger JFK information libraries anyone has accumulated.
