Thanks for sharing this historical gem, Mr. Lemkin.

I now have a greater appreciation and respect for Frederick Douglas, but prior to this read he was nothing more than a footnote in the annals of history for this once bored, restless middle school kid. MUCH more worthy than I ever imagined, especially his reminder of this gem...

"...Ex-Vice-President Dallas tells us that the Constitution is an object to which no American mind can be too attentive, and no American heart too devoted."
