It was a bad batch.....or had special delayed action properties....or wasn't at the home on the doorknob...I find it strange that both of them would have been affected...usually when two people leave a house, only one closes the door....and the length of time it took is just too long...not to mention that even the first symptoms would not make them want to sit and eat a meal - but get medical help FAST. The story doesn't fit. Why would the policeman be at their home?! Did he have dinner with them and thus was available to 'rescue' them from the bench as we were led to believe - though affected himself. We have entered Alice in Wonderland territory with the latest explanations..... And how does one square all the different versions - poison at the restaurant - poison a power in the car ventilation - poison on the door knob or in the home; not to mention the shifting position and 'role' of the policeman.
