It's interesting how Churchill's views compare to the conclusion I read in an NSA document about intelligence intercepts regarding the Holocaust during WWII. The author was an independent scholar, Jewish I believe, who was given access to some sensitive documents which were subsequently made public. He basically said there was no conspiracy on the part of the Allies to hide Nazi crimes against Jews, and that when they learned of them, the response of FDR and Churchill was to decide that the best way to end the suffering of the Jews was simply for the Allies to prevail against Hitler.
When you take Churchill's anti-Semitic writings into account, and I've read these before, and then add Project Paperclip to the mix, it's hard to take that conclusion very seriously.
It's an interesting document. I'll post it later.
