Oh...My...God...
...
If it weren't for his damned violence this man would be a hero. So much of what he said are the facts we talk about every day on this forum.

Those of us who have gone through the same realizations and attacks he went through but instead landed in places like this forum...and have not killed anyone...and are working together to enlighten and enable...well, God bless us all.

There but for the Grace of God...

I am so sorry....

You beat me to it Bruce. I just finished reading Stack's essay at The Smoking Gun; his perspective was spot on. In spite of the fact that--if events really transpired as reported--he had a bad response (massive understatement), he described very real problems with total clarity.

Predictably he is being dismissed as a raving lunatic: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/02/18...67264.html
"investigators were looking at a long anti-government screed...In it, the author cited run-ins with the IRS and ranted..."

Subtext: The guy was cuckoo; ignore him. Granted he had a "bad response" but there was no ranting. His essay was lucid and accurate.

Yes. I happen to disagree with Stack's strategy, and not completely for moral reasons. I just think that a better strategy is to hit 'em where it hurts: right in the profit sac. A general strike combined with a boycott of consumer goods--on a massive scale--until demands are met. Totally unrealistic to think that us sheeple can get that organized, as well as do without income for an indefinite period? Also unrealistic to think that our corporate masters will yield to demands? Yep. But I'm at a loss for a better strategy.

His closing creeds blew me away. They are the best and briefest synthesis I've seen of the way of the world.
