Somewhat off topic, but related, I have just learned that a new passport applications seems to now get processed with the authorization box for organ donations automatically ticked (which I left un-ticked - my organs are shot to hell anyway). I only leaned this many months later by chance when I received a circular from the Organ Donor Register. I phoned and insisted on an investigation how my name had appeared on the register without my consent. In due course I received a letter confirming my name had been removed from the register, but not a word on the results of the investigation. Another phone call and eventually another letter advising it was as a result of the new passport application, along with the statement that the hard copy passport application is destroyed after a short period of time to save storage.
No stone is left turned and no evidence is left to incriminate the guilty.
Personally, I have no problem with organ donations - at least not before this. Now I begin to wonder what the hell is going on? If everyone who applies for a new passport automatically is entered on the register, by mistake of course, what happens to a nations organs on death? Are there plans for harvesting on a grand scale for profit?
Perhaps I was a one off mistake, but the feeling tone associated with this tells me that may not be the case.

The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.
