I felt that good manners dictate that I not actually discuss long irons in any detail. I'm content to merely sit in the morning sunshine with a steaming cup of coffee and polish the shaft with a soft cloth
A preferred lie is essential at my time of life. And I always make use of Winter Rules, and clean my balls after every drive up the fairway.
Fortunately, I no longer use the same balls that Tiger used. His wife keeps those in her handbag these days anyway.
