Paul, amazing stuff you are posting on the Chronicle of Higher Ed. You are providing "aircover" for an entire generation who has heard nothing but the phrase "conspiracy theory" for all of their adult lives. Sometimes I think people not in the US underestimate the degree to which americans have been saturated with this psy ops.
For academics this has intersected with a neglect of political history in favor of often bad social history. They are far more illiterate on basic intelligence-media realities than you could imagine.
That is why they need to see this big name newspaper article that you are putting in front of their nose.
By the way where are you getting these. Do you have to go to a real library or are they available on line?
