I wish I could remember where I've seen it (I'll post it if I remember or re-find it) but I recall seeing something that said, in simple and understandable terms, that most ADHD is mis-diagnosis [I think there may be some both inside the helping professions and inside teaching, along with a little nudge from the industry to parents who may go looking for a diagnosis under which they can fit Janey or Jimmy Doe], and that it can most simply be treated or changed with some attentive re-direction of schooling methods, individualize attention, something similar to cognitive behavioral training, etc.
