I have no doubts about evolution. The origin of life is unknown
...and unknowable.
I honor all who investigate it and I respect their right to have
opinions. "Evolution" and "creationism" are both unproven theories
from which we can learn much, but neither has the answers about
the origins of life. Those who think they do are deluded.
The history of slavery throughout history is abhorent. Please
do not limit it to the United States. More at fault than the slave
owners were the greedy "merchants" who captured them and
"sold" them like merchandise...less than human. Slave "owners"
were not all of the same kind. Some were inhumane, but most
treated "their slaves" humanely. It was the post-Civil War era
which brought about racial hatred...mostly by persons who had
not been "slave owners"...but were racial bigots...more shameful
than slavery itself.
