Yes,I say again thank you Myra.Smedleys words show that not a damn thing has changed since he wrote them over seventy years ago.We as a people have apparently not evolved during this time,only the weapons of war have.I was attracted to Ron Paul during the last primaries,mostly because of his stance on eliminating the Federal Reserve,and also because he advocated George Washingtons ideas of no foreign intanglements.It was just that I saw a lot of his friends were extreme right wingers(John Birch Society etc).I wonder if Butler were still alive today,and could see what the new weaponry(spaced based,microwave,laser etc)that is being developed,what he would say.Probably a bit more than WAR IS A RACKET.
