I don't claim to know exactly what happened here, but most of the official explanation [or shall I say, hinted at explanation of this demi-event in the 'grand scheme of things'] have to be, IMO, ruled out. Somehow, by whatever means the building was brought down, they stood [for a while]. Any dust and debris would have had to have been vacuumed and blown off of them by the high winds of the collapse column of air and debris. As tall as one piece was, it is not surprising it 'wagged' back and forth before collapse. That was even another moment to shed any [non-existent] dust on it. Then, as one, the conjoined lower columns and the ?3-4? stand-alone columns sink and one sees what looks like them de-materializing from solid steel into dust....very strange and needs explaining!....as do so many irregularities, that day that began our slippery slide to neo-fascism.
