Thanks for that backround on Shinseki.I wasn't aware of his CFR and military/defense contractor affilliations.I still think that "he came forward" when he pissed Rumsfeld off,and it cost him his military career.This was at the time of the "Great Purge",when Rumsfeld,"cleansed" the military officer corps.Thomas White,(Secretary of the Army),was also sacked around this time.It seems that Rumsfeld only wanted Neo-Con types around to help implement(PNAC),which I see is in your facilitator catagory.Of course,this is all just my humble opinion.
