I REALLY like Scahill, and he is brave in the places he goes and topics he'll tackle. He spent ten days in Mogadishu to get the information on this piece...no easy place to be for ten days with his world view! He did a great job with Blackwater and other such mercenary off-the-shelfs - and other things. Not everyone at the Nation is up to his standards, IMO, and the Nation is not radical, per se....but his output is, IMHO, well done, well researched, well written and on topics chosen for their import.
