Breivik's video manifesto is a work of political art.
I reject the notion that, at the ideological level, it is the product of a single Lone Nut.
The manifesto can be seen as the reconceptualization of eugenic ideas of Aryan racial purity through a mystical, chivalric, Christian Crusader, prism.
In fact, it can be seen as Hitler's Mein Kampf adapted for C21st demographics and geopolitics. Jews are replaced by Muslims. The "collaborators" enabling an Islamicisation of Europe to take place are "cultural Marxists", in positions of power whether as politicians & civil servants or professors & teachers.
The manifesto is framed throughout in Knights Templar, Christian "Perfect Warrior", romanticism.
The Crusade that Breivik is advocating is not to retake the Holy Lands of the Middle East, but to retake or rescue Europe from its invasion and subversion by what he terms "cultural Marxism" and "Islamicisation".
Thus the manifesto is a "European Declaration of Independence". This is developed to mean an 80-year, three phase, "civil war" to cleanse Europe, and to create "European Isolationism".
The video uses a lot of cartoon and pseudo-painterly imagery. Some is reminiscent of both Nazi and Soviet propaganda posters.
The first target of the manifesto is Soviet Communism and Marxism, with the "Marxist" flag waved in Berlin in May 1945 cast as representing the beginning of the spread of "cultural Marxism" across Europe.
For instance, schools are described as cultural Marxist "Indoctrination Centres".
This is clearly relevant to Breivik's choice of targets for his atrocities: the island of Utoya was home to an annual summer school for the "future leaders" of Norway's ruling Labour party. Breivik, the "Perfect Knight", sees himself striking against an elite "cultural Marxist Indoctrination" college, where the next generation of leaders of "cultural Marxism" are being grown.
The manifesto continues with the BBC (with the 'C' replaced by an Islamic crescent and a Soviet hammer and sickle) seen as the global promoter of "cultural Marxism".
Reading between the lines, Breivik sees 1945-68 as a period of "Reds under the Beds", with Commies infiltrating everyhwere. By 1968, "cultural Marxism" has permeated all European institutions and governments: it is the dominant philosophy declaring nationalism and "cultural conservatism", which he favours, to be heresies.
Breivik considers multiculturalism to be "an anti-European hate ideology", indeed an "evil genocidal ideology created for the sole purpose of annihilating everything European".
"Cultural Marxism" is leading to the creation of a EUSSR (ie a Soviet Europe).
So far, the video manifesto could be the brainchild of Gladio. Indeed, my antennae kept on flashing post-war Gladio and Gehlen warnings throughout....
The opening "Reds under the Bed" channelled as "cultural Marxism" section then gives way to section 2, entitled "Islamic Colonization". The Turkish "Trojan Horse" will lead to Eurabia (an Islamic-dominated European continent).
The manifesto states that Islamic women are "outbreeding" European women. Entire European cities (eg Marseilles) are described as being now more Islamic than European.
It also draws attention to the concepts of: Taqqiya, which it describes as "Islamic deceit", it is legitimate to deceive "kafirs" (infidels) in the cause of Jihad; and Naskh, which is claimed as stating that "the violent Medina verses in the Quran take precedence over the peaceful Mecca verses".
The video uses images of angry or mourning muslims alongside figures claiming that 42,500 Europeans have been murdered by muslims, 750,000 European women have been raped by muslims and 5.5 million Europeans have been assaulted or robbed by Europeans. These figures, for which no source is given, are used by the manifesto to claim that an "ongoing low-intensive Islamic Jihad has been inflicted on Europe by the facilitators of Islamicisation". Ie "cultural Marxism" is responsible for an undeclared Islamic Jihad of robbery, rape and murder of the European people.
Breivik's manifesto has declared its target, its enemy: the "cultural Marxists" who are preparing the ground for Europe to be taken over by Islam.
Part 3 is entitled "Hope", which the polemic declares will be provided by principles of: Strength, Honour, Sacrifice, Matyrdom.
The imagery becomes mystical chivalric once more, with tapestries and paintings of Knights Templar and Christian Crusaders.
European history is framed as a battle against the Islamic hordes, starting in 732AD with the Battle of Tours and ending in 1683 with the defeat of the Ottoman Caliphate at the Battle of Vienna. The manifesto provides a list of heroic warrior kings and princes: Charles Martel, El Cid, Richard the Lionheart, Vlad the Impaler, Jan Sobieski, Tsar Nicholas I (represented as betrayed by Britain and France).
And, intriguingly, Jacques de Molay, the notorious Grand Master of the Knights Templar, burned at the stake for heresy on Friday the Thirteenth.
It ends with a Crusader call to arms: Onward Christian Soldiers. Become a "Justiciar Knight".
Part Four: "A New Beginning".
This section claims that the Knights Templar Order was reconstituted in April 2002 in London, as a "Pan-European Crusader Movement", a "European Indigenous Rights Movement", and a "War Crimes Tribunal".
Crucuially, KT (Knights Templar) "acts as a War Crimes Tribunal through its independent and self sustaining single-cell network of Justiciar Knights whose purpose is to target Category A and Category B multiculturalist/cultural Marxist traitors."
This, presumably, is what Breivik thinks he was doing in his slaughter of the children, as part of phase one of what he conceives as a three phase European civil war lasting until 2083.
"12 conservative revolutionary delegates from 10 European countries: France, the UK (England), Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, Greece, Spain, Russia, Serbia attended the founding meeting."
So much for Lone Nut theory....
Knights Templar Europe (KTE) is presented as being in opposition to "All Hate Ideologies". These are specified as:
"Cultural Marxism/Multicultarism: the anti-European hate ideology.
"Islam(ism): the anti-kafr hate ideology;

KTE is presented as a "cultural Christian (christian identity) military movement".

"CHRISTENDOM: 15 million dead."
"Christendom" is defined as "pre-enlightenment".
KTE promotes "cultural isolationalism similar to that of Japan and South Korea."
Beside an image of a stylized Knight Templar, the manifesto proclaims:
"Before we can start our Crusade, we must do our duty by decimating cultural Marxism".
Again, this is presumably the rationale of Breivik for his island atrocity.
Finally, the Knights Templar is presented as a Martyr destined for the Kingdom of Heaven:
"A Knights Templar does not fear death, he desires it.... because through the deed of matyrdom... he is assured the reward of imperishable glory in the Kingdom of Heaven.. Such is the destiny of the Perfect Knight."
At c12 minutes, an image of a historic Knight Templar is replaced by an image of Breivik in his freemasonic blue apron (is this the regalia of the KTE?), followed by an image of Breivik in military uniform covered in badges and ribbons (NB this image and its iconography needs careful study), and the image of Breivik in SEAL type uniform pointing a hi-tech weapon menacingly.

Breivik may believe all this pseudo-mystical tosh about Christendom, "cultural Marxism". However, I do not believe these ideas grew in a vacuum, nor that Breivik acted alone.
The entire edifice has the feel of Gladio reconstituted: a primal ideological fear, anti-Communism in the original post-WW2 Gladio, recast in a C21st light, with Islam as the demonic enemy and all those who promote "cultural Marxist" ideas as deserving of execution.
There's plenty of P2 and Priory of Sion material in there too.
Breivik is a fanatic, a criminal given a cause.
Ultimately, he serves strategia della tensione: Gladio's Strategy of Tension resurrected, with an anti-Islamic Perfect Knight seeking matyrdom thought atrocities.
