Norway’s Terror as Systemic Destabilization (Peter Dale Scott)

Once Magda and I discovered that Peter Dale Scott's research was progressing along very similar lines to ours, we were able to correspond with him and share certain material and insights.

For instance, we all share the judgement that Gladio and the strategia della tensione is a crucial part of the context for understanding Breiviik's atrocities.

Independently, Magda, Peter and I all came to the conclusion that Breivik's video manifesto was originally a slide show, suggesting dual use and a potential role in indoctrination sessions. We also agreed that the studio photos of Breivik were clearly inserted by someone who does not understand cutting rhythm at a date after the original presentation was put together.

Fundamentally, we also agree that the propaganda videos and manifesto suggest an attempt to reorientate extreme right-wing street gangs, who traditionally hate Jews, blacks, etc, into a new anti-Islamic, counter-jihadi, Christian crusader right wing. This "new" far right gaggle theoretically even allows Christian whites and Christian blacks to fight together against the Islamic bogeyman.

In practice, it is hard to see Eugene Terre'Blanche's white supremacists fighting side by side with black Liberians, or the protestant Ulster Freedom Fighters going to war alongside catholic republicans.

So, underneath the rhetoric of a Christian Mujahadeen, we also see criminal street gangs, with a track record of ruthless violence, able to traffic drugs, guns and people.

In other words, this "reorientation" of extreme right street gangs is, at the very least, a very cynical, seedy, operation.

It is also quite possibly Sponsored (in the Evica-Drago sense) by deep political forces.

The Breivik manifesto and video constitute a veritable cherry orchard of planted clues, from which it is possible to cherry-pick a number of alternative explanatory scenarios. In my own case I have been guided by the need to test a double hypothesis I put forward tentatively in the American War Machine:

1) There exists an on-going milieu that is repeatedly a source for the systemic destabilization in many of the world's major deep events, and

2) there is a congruence between this dark quadrant of systemic destabilization (or what I once called "managed violence") and the milieu of the international drug traffic.65

I have tried to show in this essay that the events of 7/22, studied in the context of the Breivik-Ulemek-Filin connection, provide an initial corroboration, at this stage admittedly less than definitive, of this double hypothesis.

There was a time when, citing the facts disclosed about the Piazza Fontana bombing in Italy or the Semdinli bombing in Turkey, I tended to identify the source of all such deep events with the parastatal or "deep state" structures in these countries, including the CIA in America. But in American War Machine I give reasons, not easily summarized, for suspecting that for the ultimate source of such deep events we should look beyond the parastatal structures of nations (including the CIA) to a more unstructured and paranational deep force or dark force, or forces, colluding with, and sometimes perhaps manipulating, these parastatal structures.66
