Not happy. Not happy at all. Locally they are known as septic tanks = Yanks. This is going to be fought and resisted on the ground but as you note our poodle and her keepers are all beholden to Washington. We have several US bases here and despite the title "joint facilities" we are not allowed in there to see what actually goes on though we are allowed to serve coffee and buscuits to the marines on guard there. Last time an Australian leader thought he actually led the nation and wanted to know what went on inside there it came to a very bad end for him and us all. Though not quite as bad as Allende. Since then Australian leaders have always checked with the US embassy first before changing policy or even their clothes and there have never been any visits to the 'joint facilities'. :ballchain:
