CDC: We are tracking swine flu virus in five states and we expect more [/QUOTE]
"...I had the "your nuts are in the roasting pan" breakthrough moment of an eureka, or aha! moment, of understanding what gear [in the game engine of the preparedness exercise/simulation training software I was working on as the subject matter expert] I was missing in appreciating how only five players could learn something deeply important about the interactions among 20-30 different agencies and players in a chaotic, pressure-packed social setting in which a pathogenic illness was suddenly freely moving along vectors and fomites..."

That DARPA/USDA project was cancelled.
The matrix of that game engine was presented by the sub-contractor at a meeting with DARPA/TSWG staff and the #2 veterinarian for the USDA in a last-ditch effort to move forward with the project. The meeting took place in extreme security behind two locked doors inside Crystal City, Arlington, VA. I was in attendance as the SME. I sat next to that vet and engaged her in a conversation about the game engine gear I found that enabled team interactive discovery of the source(s) in the race to contain the continued transmission of the virus.
