My contributions to Sherman's articles about JFK Jr's demise were limited to primarily three areas: The finding and archiving of all of the news reports from the very first moment his plane went missing; the discovery of all available data on his type of aircraft, a Piper Cub Saratoga, and the features, if any, unique to that specific plane; and reports conflicting with known facts, such as, his ability as a pilot and the weather conditions that night. All "speculation" was made by Sherman, including the "running for political office" claims, among others. I coordinated my efforts with those of Scott Myers. In the end, I was invited on the Discovery Channel (I think that was it) to report on my findings. After meeting with the producers, I suggested that they contact Scott because I wished to remain focused on the death of his father instead. Scott did a fine job of it.
