Magda, I have never heard of this series but am interested if you find where I can obtain it.
I saw it on tv when it was on the first time. Unfortunately it is not available in Australia in DVD format for some reason so I am relying on 20 year old memory. The general outline is of a provincial British university and there is one department there conducting very strange secret experiments using amongst other things using low frequency sound waves. It was not a documentary but a black comedy.
