There has to be some point at which environmentalism exists on its own merit. Is that point when we overheat the atmosphere to the point of human extinction, deplete resources, or perhaps overpopulate Earth to the point of collapse?
I personally think Green is the new progressive edge like American democracy was 200 years ago.
There are shows on our CIA cable television showing local dislike of western federal lands. They aren't telling you those shows are sponsored by big greedy interests that don't give a damn about those locals and are only interested in using them as human shields in order to eliminate environmental regulations.
