Exactly Bruce! That is what was going through my mind when I highlighted that. Every bloody nazi would have got off scott free if that rationale had been applied. Far too many of them got off free anyway. Why bother having any justice at all? Why bother having the pretense of law? Let alone aspirations to being 'civilized' or even evolved.

Sickening in the extreme! Sadly, making Obama complicit in the crimes, as an accessory after the fact, if not already having done the same [likely] on his own watch. Against all standards of US Constitution [and oath of office!], the Laws of the Land, International Laws and Treaty Obligations and just, as Magda pointed-out, civilized or ethical behavior. I think this sadly sets the tone for this Administration....(i.e. all that Bush did that was criminal will go un-investigated and un-punished; further that it is likely to continue under a 'kinder and gentler' sugarcoated PR lie). Obama was bound to disappoint - but he has exceeded my worst expectations to have done this much so soon. If he ever was a nice, ethical guy who did Community work in Chicago, that guy is gone and the Borg has assimilated him. I hope the Organic Garden will not be the highest moral effort of this term. So far it is, almost.

He broke his Oath Of Office [thus commiting Treason, IMO] with this action, and no doubt others, similar, done secretly in the 'halls of Power'. 'My Country Tis Of Thee, Bittersweet Land of Hypocracy.....' The best (sic) politicians the Men Behind The Curtain will 'allow' us are bad. Well, the truth of 911 and Dallas, etc., et al. are safe from disclosure under an Obama Administration, IMO. The Deep Political Gang are in full flower and completely in power, still. The change from Bush to what we have now will produce only some nice Feng Shui changes - then no doubt back to something that will make Bush look like a progressive pacifist - can't wait! I think America is on the critical list and will expire soon without a complete change. Complete CHANGE. My uncle, who was a legal expert at the Nuremburg Trials and wrote the Genocide Convention, will turn in his grave at the idea of 'looking forward and not back'. Sickening! Barack you've done wrong - and when the Obamaboomers catch-on to you, a National Disillusionment will set in for a generation. Zombie Nation I guess was the plan.
